AT THE MARKET — The Las Vegas Design Center is opening its doors to the general public for the first time.
Starting Aug. 10, consumers will be able to shop alongside designers and others in the home furnishings industry. The center, located at the World Market Center, features a mix of furniture, accessories, wall décor, lighting, floor coverings, fabrics and trim. The LVDC also hosts seminars and networking receptions and other events throughout the year.
Some of the latest trends currently on display at the LVDC include the resurgence of lucite in chairs, tables and accessories; furniture pieces with a mix of traditional and contemporary elements; accessories in vibrant, punchy shades; reclaimed and repurposed wood pieces; and outdoor collections.
The LVDC is open year round from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
