The new Soap system of upholstered seats includes an armchair and a standard chair. “A chair that - as designer Piergiorgio Cazzaniga affirms - by our continuing to caress it, has lost every edge and every useless thickness”. So soft, sober and comfortable. Attentive to changing uses and customs, Desalto has introduced this family of upholstered seats that allow long chats in a very relaxed setting, satisfying that increasingly numerous public who spend their evenings around the dinner table without feeling the need to move to the living room.

Sand Light by Pocci&Dondoli is new - an original and redesigned derivation of the now famous Sand chair - light to the gaze and light in weight thanks to an aluminium structure and seat and back made of polyester fibre. Solid and resistant, Sand Light is a successful meeting point between structural stability and formal sobriety, explicitly designed for an ideal use both in the home and for contract supplies. Ecosustainable as only aluminium and a PVC-freepolyester fabric know how to be, Sand Light fits within a company project that always has an attentive eye on environmental sustainability.

Also new is the Maxit small table designed by Arik Levy. It has one or two tops with ovoid forms that rotate around a lateral upright pivot and take on various configurations.

Rockid is a rocking chair and cradle in one. While softly swinging the rocking chair and reading a book or singing a lullaby, the baby falls asleep. When the baby outgrows the cradle, it is possible to reconstruct the rockid into a rocking chair.

1968 Vespa Scooter Turned Into Functional Work Station

The donor for my furniture project was a 1968 Vespa sprint that was beyond restoration, making it the perfect candidate. I feel that this was a more honorable fate than the scrap metal yard. I have tried to retain the traditional characteristics of the classic icon by converting the back half into a functional work station, complete with adjustable laptop stand. My aim was to deliver the feeling of riding a Vespa without the helmet hair. Anyone want to take it for a spin?”
