Exhibitors ready for next week's High Point Premarket

Several companies have been added to the list of exhibitors for the High Point Premarket, which takes place this coming Monday and Tuesday, March 15-16.

Premarket offers key retailers a chance to get an early look at product prototypes and offer feedback to manufacturers. It takes place about a month before the High Point Market, which runs April 17-22.

A number of exhibitors are sponsoring Premarket. The sponsors also include three showroom operators - 220 Elm, International Home Furnishings Center and Merchandise Mart Properties - that have tenants participating in Premarket. Sponsors provide funds for buyer meals, lodging and ground transportation.

Vaughan Furniture is among the sponsors, although on some previous lists they were not listed as a sponsor.

1968 Vespa Scooter Turned Into Functional Work Station

The donor for my furniture project was a 1968 Vespa sprint that was beyond restoration, making it the perfect candidate. I feel that this was a more honorable fate than the scrap metal yard. I have tried to retain the traditional characteristics of the classic icon by converting the back half into a functional work station, complete with adjustable laptop stand. My aim was to deliver the feeling of riding a Vespa without the helmet hair. Anyone want to take it for a spin?”
